As component of the NYC Department of Education, Community School District 23K has been providing educational services and programs in excess of 100 years. |

Evidence that services have been effective: |
Community School District 23K schools have been making steady progress toward their goal of meeting and exceeding New York State Performance Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Data shows that the percent of students in Level I has steadily declined, while the percent of students in Levels III and IV has increased. These results are due to the expectations that all students can approach, meet and exceed standards through the implementation of research based curricula, on-site professional development and developmentally appropriate practices. |

The CSD 23 K-12 Learning Academy will provide
the following SES program: Ela: K-8- Options Reading Interventions, 3-8 Kaplan Skills & Strategies, 9-12- Scholastic- NY Times Upfront Writers Inc. Math: K-8 Afterschool Achievers, 3-8 Kaplan Skills & Strategies, 9-12 Barron's Regents Exams and Answers, Barron's Let's Review Math A. |
