Integrating several research-based, proven methodologies, the program utilizes the teaching principle of guided instruction, providing teachers with scripted lessons applicable for all skill levels geared to each child’s learning style and addressing specific strengths and skill gaps.

Consultants and special education instructors are available to adapt curriculum based on need.  Small groups (2-3 students) are available.  Handicapped accessible locations and services (including sign language interpreters) available.


Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

Services include live reception by trained counselors, ESL instruction, specialists in bilingual/bicultural instruction, where available, translators, interpreters available in most languages.


Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s):

Instructors are qualified, screened, oriented and college educated, with relevant experience or education, under general supervision of NYS certified teachers.


Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Quarterly Reports prepared – including attendance and progress reports and will be made available to parents, teachers, and LEA’s upon request.  Written year end summary submitted.  Reports and yearly summary made available to non-English speaking parents in their native language, upon request, and if available.


Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)
