Education Station’s reading and math programs are based on a proprietary curriculum that includes third-party texts and instructional materials that focus upon leading theories in educational research.  Education Station offers a High School Reading program and algebra program.  In the past 20 years, Education Station has evaluated virtually every type of reading and math materials that complement supplement students regular school materials.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

The Education Station program is appropriate for many Special Education and ESOL students. Education Station will make reasonable adjustments to its programs to accommodate the needs of Special Education and ESOL students unless to do so would modify the fundamental nature of the program. Further, Education Station may be able to serve students who require additional/modified materials, personal assistance or specialized equipment providing that the district supplies additional funds to compensate Education Station for the changes.

Education Station’s policy is to meet all district specifications related to hiring highly qualified teachers.


Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Education Station shares all student assessments with parents, which in accordance with NCLB, are presented in a format and (to the extent practicable) a language that parents can understand. Written progress reports use clear, concise language and reference resources for parents requiring extra assistance to understand the full meaning of these important communications. These progress reports are delivered at set intervals throughout the program.


Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

Education Station seeks to provide Supplemental Educational Services in schools, thereby eliminating the need for transportation.
