Evidence that services have been effective:

During the 2009-10 school year 19 out of 38 (50% state average) students passed the NYS Integrated Algebra State Exam using our program at one of the lowest performing high schools in Rochester, NY. Three of these students were classified special education.

Lead teacher is NYS Certified as a math teacher and School District Administrator.


Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Meeting with parents as needed, letters mailed or emailed to LEA and parents periodically.  Parents and teachers can log-in to view their student work online and communicate with tutor through our Comfit Messenging Centre. Periodic contracts with teachers, school visits, phone and email.


Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

Will provide transportation on an "as needed" basis.
