Content areas to be served are ELA and Math. Services will be provided in English language arts, reading and mathematics.

At the elementary level, math services will be provided twice a week for 30-45 minute per session. Elementary reading and English language arts services will be provided daily for 30 minutes. For middle and high school levels, high need students will receive services three days a week; moderate need students two days a week; and low need students one day a week. Length of all sessions at the secondary level will range from one to two hours depending on logistics and the needs of the student.

All teachers are highly qualified as defined by the NCLB regulations.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Weekly teacher reports highlighting student attendance, performance, and effort will be sent to the LEA. Monthly reports will include the results of data and teacher analyses and reflections on students performance. All monthly reports will make correlations to the State learning standards and will include strategies and recommendations for the parent to assist their child.

Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

LEA’s will be responsible for providing transportation for their students.

Additional relevant information:

Our school district prides itself on the work we do with our staff to in-service them in the use of appropriate data to drive instruction. We will use the same strategies with the students we serve through supplemental services.
