The GRMA has not provided services to its students in the past, but Mr. Jose Hodges has been a tutor for the last two years.

Type of instruction:

Sprint Reading
In all areas, the main methodologies used for instruction will be initial direct instruction, often including modeling, followed by guided and independent practice.  All instruction will be individually tailored to student's specific area of need.
Understanding Math
The following Mathematical topics will be covered using Understanding Math: Algebra, Equations, Exponents, Fractions, Whole Numbers & Integers, Measurement & Geometry, Percent, Probability, and Numeration.  All topics contain: interactive concept sections (with graphic explanations), interactive examples (with step-by-step explanations), practice questions (with interactions), and off computer activities (with lesson outlines/worksheets)

A bilingual instructor will assure equal access to services offered by the organization to all eligible students with limited English proficiency.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

The following report will be used to inform parents and the Rochester City School District of each student's progress:
Progress Monitoring Reports, Instructional Planning Reports, Alert Reports, and School-to-Home Letters.  Each student's attendance records will be mailed to the Rochester City School District on the 1st and 15th of every month, unless otherwise requested.
