Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

The CompassLearning Odyssey program appeals to various learning styles: tactile -through use of on-line manipulatives.  Auditory -many parts of the lessons are read aloud; and visual -reading, graphics and animation.  Feedback is immediate and reinforcement is short and appropriate.  For students with disabilities the positive reinforcements are especially appealing.  Because the curriculum is self-paced, it is beneficial to all students and can be tailored for after school programs.  The frequency and length of sessions can also be tailored specifically to the needs of the student.
