Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Parents, teachers, and LEAs will receive multiple reports from Learn It’s managers and lead teachers throughout the program.  The first correspondence wil be an individualized student plan, based on the results of the pre-assessment administered to each student in the first session.  The results of that assessment, along with all student performance data provided by the School District or the classroom teachers, will be used to construct the learning plan.  A copy of that learning plan, along with a fact sheet on the after-school tutoring program (name and contact information of instructors, schedule of sessions, location and duration of tutoring program, dismissal procedures, ect.) will be sent to each student’s home for the parent to sign and return.

After that initial correspondence, monthly progress reports will be sent home to the parent(s) or guardian(s) of each child through backpack distribution.  The monthly progress report will detail student attendance, participation, and performance in lessons and on benchmark quizzes in the program.

13.

Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

Learn It’s program will typically occur in the schools the enrolled children attend during the school day.  As such, transportation will not be required.

Additional relevant information:

Learn It’s instructional model relies on age appropriate groupings as well as homogenous instructional level groupings.  In order to achieve robust groupings along each grade level, Learn It typically requires at least 25 students in each school so that students can be re-grouped to the higher or lower level during the program, as appropriate.
