3. Evidence that services have been effective: The content that we are using, Compass Learning Odyssey, has a proven track record and has been an industry leader for over 35 years.

7. Number of sessions provided per week, if applicable: 1-2 sessions per week plus unlimited access to assessments and learning modules 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

10. Type of instruction: Online real-time tutoring utilizing engaging technology that surpasses the face to face experience and motivate children to succeed.  Students will also have access to online Independent Learning Modules and other online resources 24 hours per day 7 days per week
10a. Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities: Students with disabilities are supported in the following ways:
- Directions, explanations of concepts, and introductions to activities are read to the students within the learning modules
- Students also have the option to have story text read to them
- The interactive format of the real-time tutoring sessions provides a learning environment that supports multiple learning styles
- Archived tutoring sessions are accessible to students who miss a session or by students who want to review past lessons for increased understanding
- The technology allows for instructors to readily poll students to assess understanding and allows students to provide feedback to the teacher
- Through the use of emoticons, students are able to express themselves to the teacher and other students with emotion indicators.  This is one way to address the emotional as well as academic needs of the student
- Due to its accessibility, the real-time tutoring sessions enables students with disabilities to fully participate and supports Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
10b. Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency: Learner First has developed strategies for accommodating LEP students through:
- Translation of independent learning modules into students' native languages when available
- Learner First's course management software will translate all content into 63 different languages
- Real-time tutoring sessions are designed to automatically inherit the language settings of the operating system displaying menus and dialogs in the local language
- Students will have access to Compass Learning's independent learning modules designed for English Language Learners.  These Learning Modules are available in 10 different languages and support the learner's language acquisition.
11. Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s): All NY State Certified
12. Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery): Quarterly reports will be emailed to Parents, Teachers and Schools and will include attendance, completion of independent learning modules, assessment results, and teacher comments.
13. Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation) No transportation is necessary if internet access is available at home.
For those students who do not have internet access in their homes, Learner First will establish cooperative relationships with local school districts, BOCES, colleges, government organizations, libraries, community centers, faith-based organizations, and private industry where online access is available.
