Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

The Sylvan Learning Center employs several methods and strategies to serve students with disabilities. We pay particular attention to different learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Sylvan also utilizes an assortment of manipulatives that are suitable for all learners.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

The Sylvan Learning Center employs several methods and strategies to serve students with limited English proficiency. We offer many activities and utilize manipulatives that work on vocabulary development, comprehensive strategies and math skills that are appropriate to these children's special needs.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

The LEA, teachers and parent(s) will be notified of the student's progress on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis in any mode of communication they prefer. If one of these individual contacts has specific communication requirements, the center must be notified and will comply with that request. The LEA, teacher(s), and parent(s) will be given written progress reports to demonstrate the student's performance/progress and regular meetings will be held to discuss the reports.

Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

The Sylvan Learning Center does not provide or pay for transportation.
