Sylvan is open Monday through Friday from 4-7 P.M.  We are open on Saturday from 9:30A.M to 12:30 P.M.  Sylvan is open year round with exception to certain holidays.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

The Sylvan Learning Center provides many methods and strategies for serving students with disabilities. We attend to the different styles of learning: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.  We have an assortment of manipulatives that are suitable to all learners.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

The Sylvan Learning Center provides an array of methods and strategies for serving students with limited English proficiency.  We provide many activities and manipulatives that work on vocabulary development, comprehension strategies, and math skills that are appropriate to these children's needs.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

The LEA, teachers, and parents will be notified of the students' progress on a weekly basis.  If any one of these individuals' has specific communication requirements, the center will need to be notified and will provide these services upon request. The LEA, teachers, and parents will be given written progress reports to demonstrate their performance and meetings will be held to discuss the information.
