 Formal and informal evaluations have determined that our signature program significantly increases math test scores, improves reading skills and contributes to improved educational outcomes for participants.

 Our programs incorporate instructional practices found by the National Reading Panel to be effective and scientifically-based, and programs that have been documented to improve math scores.

 Programs are directed by a NYS certified teacher; all tutors are highly trained and closely supervised.

 Progress reports will be provided at least quarterly by mail, phone or meetings.

The YMCA will offer, where available, recreational/enrichment opportunities for one hour following SES after-school sessions and for three hours following SES summer sessions, without charge.
