Academic Success will follow the recommendations of the students IEP.

Academic Success has chosen programs that provide materials to assist in teaching students with limited English proficiency.

New York State or New York City licensed and/or certified teachers, private, or parochial school teachers, or substitute, or per diem teachers.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Contact is a written checklist and narrative format (frequency is determined by the LEA). Parent conferences are on an ongoing basis with the parent in the home.

Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

No transportation needed. Tutorial services are administered in the student's home, unless the guardian gives a written request for a different location. The LEA must approve the location in writing.

Additional relevant information:

Academic Success' office staff speak fluent Spanish and tutors speak multiple foreign languages. The owners of Academic Success have owned and operated a different educational services firm for over 35 years.
