Student and Parent reviews, empirical evidence from Triumph Learning and Open Court Reading Programs, results on NYS Math Tests, NYSELAT and NYS Regents results.

The instructional content will be aligned with the curriculum used by the participating schools to ensure that each student's current academic needs are addressed appropriately.  The content will also be supplemented using resources from Triumph Learning - Coach Series, Open Court Reading, Prentice Hall, Glencoe, McGraw-Hill, SRA supplemental resources.

Flexible, based on parent/student availability and need.

1 hour-2 hours

52 weeks per year, including weekends.


Type of instruction:

Small group (6-8 students) and one on one instruction, complimented by self- paced computer based learning.


Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

Students' IEPs will be assessed and evaluated, with services delivered accordingly.


Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

Bi-lingual certified teachers and experienced tutors will work with students with limited English proficiency and provide support resources that are language appropriate.


Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s):

New York State Professional Certified Teachers, trained and experienced tutors.

All offers for employment with ACE MATH,  are subject to drug testing and all of the fingerprint and criminal history record check requirements contained in law.


Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Monthly written progress reports using JupiterGrades.  Ongoing face-to-face, telephone, and e-mail communication.


Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

Transportation services will not be provided.


Additional relevant information:

Supplemental computer based instructional support materials will be widely used to enhance the confidence of students, increase their interest, provide self-paced guidance, link skills to real-world situations/applications and add an element of fun.
