Evidence that services have been effective:

Four years as the largest SES company in Georgia have provided us with an excellent base of statistical information.  Students who use our platform achieve a 15 point increase in their pre and post test results.  That's like going from a 68 to an 83!  Also the Georgia DOE tells is that students using our service for just 10+ hours passed their key state tests at a 15% higher rate than students of the average SES provider and 44.4% higher than a control group of students with no SES assistance.    The state tells us the 82.5% of our students report higher math report card grades, 87% are satisfied or very satisfied with our service and 87% would recommend Achieve HighPoints to their friends.

Achieve HighPoints uses the HighPoints e-Learning Platform, or HELP- a proprietary instructional program mapped exactly to the new York State Mathematics Core Curriculum.

We recommend 3-4 one hour sessions each week to keep up with the in classroom learning.

Each session is developed for one hour.

Our online learning platform is available from the first day of school through the last day of August. Students have the expectation of completing 30 hours of tutoring to gain the maximum benefit from the program.

Type of instruction:

Online math tutoring via our HighPoints eLearning Platform, HELP.  Access to live tutors is available for all of our students if a particular topic is unclear and additional assistance is required.  This is done via web based communications or phone calls between the tutor, student and parent and/or legal guardian.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

We do not have a true solution for students with disabilities.  We have been told however that we are a great solution for students with hearing loss since it is not necessary to hear to perform well on our platform.  Also, any student who can use the computer in their home and can read should be able to benefit from Achieve HighPoints.

We do not have a true solution for students with limited English proficiency.

Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s):

Our instructors have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in mathematics, engineering, science or other math- intensive fields.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

We produce monthly reports for parents, teachers and LEAs.  Depending on their preferences, each may access the report from our administrator portal or we will email the reports on a monthly basis.  Additionally, each will be given a login password and ID to check on the status of any child at any time, 24/7/365.

Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

Transportation is not a requirement for our online solution and as such is not provided.

Additional relevant information:

Because we are a web-based solution our tutor: student ratio is 1:1.  We are also an outstanding solution for rural areas that are too widespread and too small for a traditional tutor to cover due to low the number of attendees.  We can serve as few as one student in any district in the state as long as they have an internet connection.
