The instructional program that we have selected is research based and highly effective. There is documented evidence of the success of this program in schools across the country.

Gold Key Academics recommends 2 sessions per week. However, the frequency of the sessions can be modified to accommodate the student's needs.

Gold Key Academics recommends each session to be 1-1.5 hours for grades 3-5, and each session to be 1-2 hours for grades 6-8. However, the length of the sessions can be modified to accommodat the student's needs.

One-on-one tutoring and small group tutoring: Small group tutoring will consist of 2 to 5 students per instructor.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

Gold Key Academics hires New York State certified teachers who specialize in serving students with disabilities. The students will be required to opt for one-on-one tutoring at a location of their choice since they require specialized attention.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

Gold Key Academics hires bilingual/multilingual New York State certified teachers who specialize in English as a Second Language (ESL). The students will be required to opt for one-on-one tutoring at a location of their choice since they require specialized attention.

Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s):

Gold Key Academics is very selective and precise when hiring instructors. In addition to being NY State Certified, we select applicants who have a strong desire to teach, are excellent communicators, and who can adapt as well as demonstrate their approach to each individual student.

Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Progress reports will be provided to parents monthly and at the completion of the program via mail and/or email. The progress reports will include attendance, pre- and post- assessment scores, goals, lesson completion, and the instructor’s comments on student progression. Informal reporting will be delivered more frequently and upon request.

No, transportation will not be provided to or from Gold Key Academics. However, we do provide the option of tutoring in the student’s homes.
