Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

LTCI offers tutorial services to eligible students with disabilities (SWD) and has expertise on staff to ensure effective instruction for these stufents.  LTCI has a certified special needs teacher on staff that reviews assessments and SEPs.


Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

LTCI offers tutoring for students with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and has expertise on staff to ensure effective instruction for these students.  We provide these students with support from an interpreter on staff so these students are able progress on par with other students in the program and achieve comparable growth. 


Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s):

LTCI prides itself on the qualified, trained, professional staff that we engage to serve the students who choose our services.  We require our instructional staff to be state certified teachers and to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.  We also require that all of our  staff must successfully pass a  National Criminal Background check with fingerprinting and entered into PETS.  Our instructional staff includes retired teachers, administrators with experience in the classroom, and teachers who have experience working in Title I schools with low-income and at-risk students from varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds. 


Reports to parents, teachers, and LEA (Content, frequency, method of delivery):

Progress Reports are distributed monthly to parents, teachers and LEA and include: objectives taught, NY State Learning Standards that aligh to objectives, assessment scores, indication of mastery or non-mastery of skills, instructor comments, upcoming month's objectives and attendance;
Individual Student Plans are distributed after Pre-Test assessment and include lessons to be covered over the length of service delivery;

Method of delivery is US Mail or hand delivery.


Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

LTCI does not provide transportation but will travel to the homes of students who cannot travel to our facilities
