Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities:

Curriculum and lesson plans have been developed to address multiple learning styles and are flexible enough to allow for modified instruction, based on the student’s special needs. Staff work in collaboration with the student’s teachers, school administration and education specialists to provide targeted support for each child, including students will identified special education requirements, as specified by their IEP.

Description of methods and strategies for serving eligible students with limited English proficiency:

The program was originally designed to help students who were learning English, so this is a strong suit. All instruction takes place in English, as long as students have at least basic conversational English, they will be able to thrive in the Reading Partners program.

Qualifications of the service provider(s)/instructor(s):

Staff overseeing overall program have credentials and classroom teaching experience, oftentimes masters; all tutors receive intensive training and daily coaching and feedback.

Hard-copy student progress reports and completed work sent to teachers and parents every 2 months

Will transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for transportation)

No – services take place on school campuses
