Sylvan Learning Center routinely uses a variety of strategies in working with students with learning differences and disabilities. Programs have shown to be effective with students with learning disabilities. Facilities are handicap accessible. |

Instruction is provided in English. Each academic program will be individualized based on the student's skills gaps in the areas of phonics, vocabulary and comprehension skills that were identified during the initial diagnostic assessment. |

In person or telephone conferences are held after initial assessment and at midpoint and end of instruction. Conferences include written report on student progress. |

Sylvan Learning Center has provided supplemental educational services and tutoring to more than two million students over the past 30 years. Our instruction is based on individual students’ academic assessments. We use a mastery system of learning to remediate skill gaps and personalized lesson plans to enhance academic achievement and increase confidence. |
