Watts Academic Tutoring's approach to tutoring is adapted from that of the I'M READY program, which has been successful in raising achievement of students in long-term suspension. The SES program also uses the A+ Anywhere Learning curriculum and learning programs, which are used across the country and have been demonstrated to be effective in several research studies. |

A+ Anywhere Learning program by the American Education Corporation is the primary instructional program. This program will be supplemented with Pearson Intervention materials. |

Computer-assisted instruction using the A+ Anywhere Learning System, facilitated by certified teachers and supplemented by small-group and one-on-one tutoring by certified teachers. |

Tutoring will comply with each student's IEP, and certified teachers with experience in Special Education will be recruited as tutors. |

A+ Anywhere Learning has been effective in supporting learning and achievement for English language learners. The SES program will recruit bilingual tutors with experience teaching LEP students. |

The SES program is overseen by Watts Academic Tutoring President Jerome Watts, Ed.D. Dr. Watts has more than 18 years of experience in K-12 education, including experience as a principal, director of alternative education, assistant principal and elementary teacher in Rochester and other New York State school districts. |
