Intervention, Evaluation and Best Practices
The Intervention, Evaluation and Best Practices Team:
- Administers the Distinguished Educator (DE) Program.
- Identifies criteria for selection of Commissioner’s Schools and developed RFPs for Dissemination Grants and Replication Grants.
- Compiles Web-Based Library of Best Practices for use by schools and districts.
- Facilitates the RFP for the Evaluation of New York State’s interventions in Persistently Lowest Achieving (PLA)/Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) Schools and the Differentiated Accountability System.
- Supports coordination and monitoring of the Learning Technology Grant (LTG) for New York City.
- Conducts research on Effective Accountability, Intervention and Improvement Practices.
