Appalachian Regional Commission
New York State, the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Invite You to Spend a STEM Summer at the ARC/ORNL 2018 Summer Institute!
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), in collaboration with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, is sponsoring a two-week residential hands-on learning institute focusing on math, science, and technology for high school students and teachers from New York State's Appalachian Region (Allegany, Broome, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Schoharie, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins counties). This year's institute for high school students and teachers will be held from July 7 to 20, 2018. Applications must be submitted to New York State Education Department, Office of Curriculum and Instruction via this secure repository https://www.research.net/r/ARC-ORNLapp . Applications are due no later than New York State will select two nominees for each teacher and student summer session. Alternates may also be nominated to attend on a space-available basis.
