Race to the Top Network Team Institute (NTI)

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) is seeking proposals from bidders to host the Race to the Top Network Team Institute (NTI) for the school year 2011-12. Hotels located within the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga or Rensselaer are invited to submit a bid for one or more of the 5 NTI sessions that will be held from March through August 2012. The services needed include lodging, meeting space, audio visual equipment and set-up, and food for approximately 400 participants. NYSED will make separate awards for each of the 5 sessions. Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals for all NTI sessions, as a bidder may receive up to 5 awards. The contracts resulting from this IFB will be for a term beginning no sooner than March 1, 2012 and ending no later than August 31, 2012.

Mandatory Requirements:

Eligible hotels must be located in the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga or Rensselaer and have a general session room that can accommodate 400 estimated participants for a particular session (see Chart A), and be able to provide 150 hotel rooms (double occupancy, two double-beds) for a given session (see Chart A).
