Reporting Enrollment and Placement of Adult CTE Students in Secondary Agencies
Enrollment data is now collected through the Adult Student Information System and Technical Support (ASISTS). This data, which is disaggregated by gender and economic disadvantage, is used to further program improvement and to comply with federally mandated reporting requirements. The State Education Department also uses this data to determine appropriate allocations of Perkins funds. All data must comply with the reporting polices and definitions contained in these instructions. The data is due at the end of each program year (July 31). To access ASISTS go to https://www.asists.com/login.aspx web page and:
- Enter your user name and password
- At the top of the screen, click on the drop-down menu
- In drop-down window, select the “funding reports" option
- Select the “CTEDS” option
Placement outcome reporting has returned to the use of a separate form, the placement workbook. An Excel workbook (i.e., the Adult Placement Workbook) which contains certification, summary, and placement forms, will continue to be used to collect data previously collected on the CTEDS-2A. This workbook collects the placement performance indicator data required by the federal Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006. This data is disaggregated by gender and by selected population characteristics for each individual CTE program. See the updated instructions and form for more details. Workbooks are due March 30, 2011.
