Data Validation Rules

The Level 0 application is a web-based application used to enter and validate data from an LEA (Local Education Agency) before data are loaded to their Level 1 Host center. The Level 0 application contains edits to assist LEA users in providing quality data to the Student Information Repository System (SIRS). The data validation rules for each extract may be accessed by clicking on the link below. The Department strongly encourages student management system (SMS) vendors to incorporate the Level 0 data validation rules in their SMSs.
