Online Instructions to Receive CAP Payment for School Year 2009-10
Go to http://portal.nysed.gov to log onto the Mandated Services Aid online application system.
Enter your user name and password. If you have problems with either, please contact SEDDAS Help at 518:473-8832.
Check that the payee information is correct. If it is not correct, you must complete and submit a Payee Information Form before proceeding.
If the payee information is correct, click on the [All the Information is Correct] button.
Click on the [School Year 2009-10] button to create an amended claim for the 2009-10 school year. If this button is not available, another claim is open or pending payment. You will have to wait until the other claim closes to amend the 2009-10 claim.
Click on the [Edit] button.
The system brings you to the BEDS enrollment screen.
Please complete the following steps in the exact order in which they are listed:
1. Click on the MSA-1 button in the upper left corner.
2. Read and then Click on the box next to the words Comprehensive Attendance Policy (CAP).
3. Read the general certification statement and Click on the [I Agree] button.
4. Click on the [Submit Claim] button.
