Travel to Empire State Convention Center Meeting Rooms 1-6:

Note: On the weekends and for big events, Parking Services opens up a second level of Parking underneath the Empire State Plaza Convention Center.  There are additional lots next to Museum that are free after 2pm on weekdays and weekends. Street parking is also free on Saturdays. The entrances and exits that are typically closed on Friday night are the ones to the Capitol. Public ones will be open; such as the Madison Avenue entrance right across from the Museum. Refer to the Empire State Plaza map posted in this section.

Note: Elevators 14-18 lead to the Northeast Gallery, in which the Empire State Plaza Convention Center Meeting Rooms 1-6 are located.

Note to all participants: Feel free to download the presentations below to your laptop. You will not have WiFi access in the meeting rooms during the conference; however, you can retrieve your downloaded presentations if you saved them on your laptop.

NYSED CTLE Credit Certificates:

  • OISR has received inquiries regarding teachers and administrators receiving these certificates at the completion of the conference for eligible hours. To see what the CTLE Credit Certificate looks like, click here.  
  • OISR staff will not be completing these certificates at the conference but will provide evidence of attendance to assist you in working with your district contact person to complete them.
  • If an individual wants evidence of attendance, simply provide registration table staff with the name, district and email address; and the contact to whom staff should email this info.
  • On Saturday, 11/5, and toward the end of the session, registration table staff will then review the individual’s registration info (scanned badges) and email that contact person.
  • Following this conference, OISR staff will email its own Certificates of Attendance which participants may also choose to use as additional evidence.
