2013-2016 Charter School Dissemination Grant Program
The Charter School Office (CSO) released its first-ever dissemination grant called the New York Charter School Dissemination Program. The purpose of this grant is to provide funds to support the dissemination of effective practices and programs that have been developed, tested, and proven successful in New York Charter Schools. Dissemination funds are made available to assist charter schools in disseminating their successful innovations to any district school(s) in New York through designated partnerships. Individual awards are available for up to $500,000 for three years—two years for project implementation and one year for evaluation.
A link to the Request For Proposals (RFP) is posted here: http://www.p12.nysed.gov/funding/currentapps.html. A charter school may apply for a dissemination grant if the charter school is in at least its fourth year of operation and is in “Good Standing” or “Reward” status under NYSED’s state accountability system for 2012-2013.
All questions about the RFP must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than February 27, 2013. Individual questions will not be answered by email, but rather through Question and Answer Summaries that will be posted at http://www.p12.nysed.gov/funding/currentapps.html on February 15, February 22, and March 1.
