Charter Revision Requests for Charter Schools Authorized by the Board of Regents
Charter revision requests for Regents-authorized charter schools involving enrollment increases, changes to grades served, or the district of location must be submitted to the Charter School Office no later than December 15 prior to the academic year in which the proposed revision will commence. For such revisions proposed to commence for the 2013-2014 school year, the charter school must submit the request to the Charter School Office no later than December 15, 2012.
Other charter revisions requests may be submitted to the Charter School Office within a reasonable timeframe prior to the implementation of the proposed revision. Charter schools are strongly encouraged to plan ahead regarding revision requests, particularly those of a material nature, and to communicate and consult with the Charter School Office.
