Charter Revision Requests for Charter Schools Authorized by the Board of Regents
Charter revision requests for Regents-authorized charter schools involving enrollment increases, changes to grades served, or the district of location must be submitted to the Charter School Office no later than December 15 prior to the academic year in which the proposed revision will commence. Charter revision requests submitted by December 15 of this year, of approved, will be enacted at the beginning of the next academic year.
Other charter revisions requests may be submitted to the Charter School Office within a reasonable timeframe prior to the implementation of the proposed revision. Charter schools are strongly encouraged to plan ahead regarding revision requests, particularly those of a material nature, and to communicate and consult with your liaison in the Charter School Office as early in the academic year as possible.
