Reminder of SIRS Data Warehouse Freeze
Please be aware that the SIRS Data Warehouse will be freezing for 2009-10 reporting from October 8 - October 22. After the next refresh in the PD Data System on October 5, 2010 the PD Data System will NOT be refreshed again until November 3, 2010. The certification buttons for VR 11-15 will appear on November 3, 2010.

The 2010-11 School Year Data Requirements Page is now Available
The 2010-11 data requirements page is now available on SEDCAR's website. The HTML version of our forms and verification reports will be coming soon but the Word and PDF versions are now available.

Superintendent's Template for Certification of Inaccurate Data
The superintendent's template for districts that certified inaccurate data is now available on SEDCAR's website. We will also be updating the language that appears after the certification button is pressed which will include a link to this template. The template needs to be signed by the superintendent and can be mailed, faxed or emailed back to the SEDCAR unit. Once the template is received the verification report will be unlocked and you will be allowed additional refreshes.

The SIRS Data Warehouse is Freezing
There will be no data submissions from the Regional Information Centers or large city centers to the State's data repository after July 30, 2010 for the next three Fridays. We anticipate that the repository will begin accepting data from the RICs and large cities on August 27, 2010. During the period when the data repository is closed, there will be no data refreshes in the PD Data System except for the August 4 refresh to reflect the data as of July 30. We will provide you updated information on the PD System and this RSS feed as it becomes available.

The List of Districts Required to Submit a VR 16 has been Updated
The list of districts required to submit on verification report 16 has been updated. We were recently notified by the Special Education Budget and Finance Office of additional districts that used IDEA federal funds to provide Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CEIS) to general education students during the 2007-08, 2008-09, and / or 2009-10 school years. Please keep checking this list as more districts may be added.

The State Performance Plan indicator schedule has been updated for the 2010-11 school year. Those schools that were originally required to submit on indicator 13 in the 2010-11 school year will now have to submit on indicator 13 and 14. Printer Friendly Table of Due Dates
We have created a printer friendly version of all of our forms and their due dates for the 2009-10 school year. This can be found in multiple places on the data reporting page such as the: Data Submission Schedules section, under the refresh schedules on top of each table of due dates and in the references section. We will also have a link to this on the PD Message Board.
