Speaker Notes:

Slide 23: Meeting Notice - Who will attend

The notice identifies, in chart form, who will attend the meeting. Both the name and title of each individual who will attend the meeting must be identified in the meeting notice.

While meeting notice identifies the individuals expected to attend, there may be occasions when an identified member will not be able to attend the meeting. The parent and district can reach a written agreement, either prior to or subsequent to the issuance of the meeting notice, that the attendance of one or more individuals at all or a portion of a meeting is not necessary or that a member may be excused from attending all or a portion of the meeting.
