Recreation Program

Recreation Program-After Class Activities.

The recreation program at the New York State School for the Deaf provides opportunities for fun, enjoyment, and selfexpression through a wide variety of activities. The services offered focus on the physical, mental, emotional and social functioning of the student with the goal of an independent leisure lifestyle. A wide range of recreational activities are provided to enable the acquisition and application of skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for successful participation in community leisure life.
