- Mandatory training for school nurses and certified athletic trainers is the* NYSED approved course Heads Up to Clinicians, http://preventingconcussions.org/. This course must be completed every two years.
- Mandatory training for coaches and PE teachers is the NYSED approved course Heads Up, Concussion in Youth Sports, http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp/online_training.html. This course must be completed every two years.
- Coaches may also meet the mandatory training every two years by taking the approved course Concussion in Sports-V2.0 from the National Federation of State High School Associations, http://www.nfhslearn.com/electiveDetail.aspx?courseID=38000
