CREATE - Eligibility
Computer Recycling for Education and Technology Enhancement: Who Is Eligible to Acquire Surplus Equipment?
Public schools, BOCES, Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and public libraries in New York State will be given first preference for distribution of equipment.
Other eligible entities include public and private institutions and not-for-profit institutions serving individuals with disabilities, senior citizens or low income individuals. In order to be eligible to receive equipment, private schools must meet the requirements for private schools as set by the Department
An application form and written narrative must be submitted in order to be eligible to participate in the CREATE program.
