Overview

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) Office of Student Support Services is seeking proposals for the establishment and operation of three regional Technical Assistance Centers to provide technical assistance to school districts establishing or operating Community Schools.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants are non-profit entities with expertise in implementing Community School strategies and providing technical assistance, and that have the capacity to operate such Technical Assistance Centers.

Bidders and Subcontracting

Bidders or subcontractors that are affiliated with, or perform work for, school districts implementing Community School strategies must have clear and separate governance and oversight structures in place to prevent any conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest.

A bidder who proposes to establish and operate more than one of the three regional Technical Assistance Centers must submit a separate bid for each Center.

Subcontracting will be limited to forty percent (40%) of the total contract budget. Subcontracting is defined as non-employee direct personal services and related incidental expenses, including travel.

Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE)
