Beginning with the 2015-16 school year, nonpublic schools that award Regents diplomas, local diplomas that conform to Commissioner's Regulations on local diplomas, Career Development & Occupational Studies Commencement Credentials, and/or Skills & Achievement Commencement Credentials are required to report in SIRS. Nonpublic Schools must also report post secondary plans of graduates in SIRS.
Nonpublic schools must work with their local Regional Information Center (RIC) to report all state assessments (Grades 3-8, Regents, RCT, NYSAA, etc.) in the Student Information Repository System (SIRS).
