This file layout is for grades 3 through 8 and secondary-level equivalent New York State Alternate Assessments (NYSAAs) administered between October 6, 2008 and February 13, 2009.
Notes:
(a) This layout matches the State Data Repository.
(b) Only data for NYSAA students who have a valid score, were identified as medically excused, or whose datafolio was considered administrative error for one of the following reasons:
· administrative error or
· “N” or blank for AGLI Selected from the Appropriate Grade Level, Task Connects to AGLI, or VE Connects to Task for all AGLIs attempted in a content area or
· “NS” for Level of Accuracy, or Level of Independence for all completed dates
will be sent to Measured Progress (MP). Results for students who were not tested because they were absent, were eligible to take another assessment to fulfill the testing requirement, or were not in the district at the time of test administration will not be included in the file sent to MP.
(c) A separate file will be sent for each grade level (e.g., NYSAA: Grade 3, NYSAA: Grade 4, NYSAA: Secondary, etc.), seven files in all.
(d) The total record length is 448 bytes for each student record.
(e) The files provided to MP are ASCII text files.
