• Although graduation rates for Black and Hispanic students are too low –

• The graduation rate between the 2001 and 2003 cohorts increased by 5.5% for Black students and 5.2% for Hispanic students (3.4% for White students).

• This means about 2,400 more Black students graduated and 2,000 more Hispanic students.

• Plus – Comparing those cohorts after 4 years, more Black and Hispanic students are staying in school. Fewer dropped out.
