Data that are in the Level 2 warehouse as of March 31, 2008 will be final and used in all State aggregations and in Local Education Agency reports. The December 3, 2007 snapshot data are used for State Performance Plan indicators 5 (least restrictive environment setting for school age students), 6 (least restrictive environment setting for preschool children), 9 (disproportionality, based on race/ethnicity, in the identification of students for special education), and 10 (disproportionality, based on race/ethnicity, in the identification of students by specific disabilities). These data are also used for determination of disproportionality, based on race/ethnicity, in the placement of students with disabilities in particular settings and the calculation of special education classification rate.

Schools, districts and agencies that have been contacted to provide an explanation of significant year to year changes listed on the Department’s reasonability report may make any necessary corrections to their records such that the final data is submitted to the Level 2 data warehouse by no later than April 28, 2008.
