SIF 2
Best Practices: Four SIF 2 schools completed their grant award periods which began on January 1, 2013. One ended on June 30, 2015 and three participated in a no-cost extension through August 31, 2015. All four schools selected the Community-Oriented Wrap Around Services model as their whole-school redesign frameworks.
As part of their final reports, they were each asked to describe a promising practice that is currently being implemented and can easily be replicated by another school/district; describe data showing evidence of success of practice including the observable, positive impact the practice has on the school/district; and describe the steps the school/district has in place to sustain this best practice.
NYSED STO did not alter the documents submitted by the schools/districts.
