Data that are in the Level 2 warehouse as of January 8, 2021 as certified by school districts by January 11, 2021 will be final and used in all State aggregations and in Local Education Agency reports. The October 7, 2020 special education snapshot data are used for State Performance Plan indicators 5 (least restrictive environment setting for school age students), 6 (least restrictive environment setting for preschool children), 9 (disproportionality, based on race/ethnicity, in the identification of students for special education), and 10 (disproportionality, based on race/ethnicity, in the identification of students by specific disabilities). These data are also used for determination of disproportionality, based on race/ethnicity, in the placement of students with disabilities in particular settings and the calculation of special education classification rate.
