IDEA, Section 611 and Section 619 Worksheet for LEAs to Calculate the 2010-2011 Per-student Vendor Funding Amount
This worksheet is provided for optional use by local education agencies (LEAs) to calculate the federal IDEA Part B section 611 and section 619 per student vendor funding amounts. The amount reflected in line seven will be retained by the LEA from its section 611 and section 619 allocation, based on the number of students with disabilities entered in lines one and two; and that same per student vendor funding amount will be provided to each approved special education program (ASEP) submitting an appropriate SEDCAR-1 form for preschool students with a disability listed on lines three (a) and three (b). The amount reflected in line eight shall also be retained by the LEA from its section 611 and section 619 allocations, based on the weighted number of preschool students with disabilities entered on line three (c) rounded off to the nearest whole number. This one-third per student vendor funding amount will be disbursed to each approved special education program (ASEP) submitting an appropriate SEDCAR-1 form for preschool students with disabilities who received related services only.
This worksheet is provided in order to facilitate and ensure the accuracy of calculations related to federal IDEA Part B section 611 and section 619 per-student vendor funding amounts.
