Office of Career and Technical Education Important Dates and Submission Deadlines

3/16/20

Perkins V Local Application and guidance for the 2020-21 program year released.

3/31/20

Post High School Placement Report for students who reached the concentrator level and left secondary education any time during the 2018-19 school year due to the CTE Office.

4/30/20

Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) should be completed. This will be submitted with the 2020-21 Perkins V Local Application (6/1/20).

6/1/20

Complete 2020-21 Perkins V Local Application with the CLNA and CLNA summary due to the CTE Office.

6/30/20

Complete applications for reapproval of CTE programs to be offered in the 2020-21 school year due to the CTE Office. Please note incomplete applications may be returned.

Re-registration forms for Work-Based Learning programs expiring 8/31/20 due to the CTE Office.

8/21/20

SIRS Final End of Year data due.

9/30/20

Final Narratives for Perkins Transition Year 2019-20 due to CTE Office.

FS-10-F for Perkins Transition Year 2019-20 due to NYSED Grants Finance Office

10/1/20

Begin surveying students who reached concentrator level and left secondary education any time during the 2019-20 school year for the Post High School Placement Report.

Complete applications for initial approval of new programs that may offer integrated credit and /or the CTE 4+1 graduation pathway to be offered in the 2021-22 school year due to the CTE Office.
In the event that districts/BOCES are planning to offer integrated credits and/or the 4+1 graduation pathway in 2020-2021 through programs that have not yet been approved, please submit applications as soon as possible but no later than 10/1/20.

11/1/20

Only programs approved by November 1st may offer integrated credit and /or the CTE 4+1 graduation pathway for the 2020-21 school year and have students enroll for the 2021-22 school year.  Additionally, only programs that have been approved by this date will be eligible to be included in an off-year CLNA for possible Perkins funding.  

Civil Rights Compliance Documents:
All Civil Rights Compliance Review Documents and Information must be received by NYSED CTE Office at least 4 weeks prior to the scheduled on-site visit.
