Data Collection for 2012-13 School Year Incidents
Beginning this year (2013), the New York State Education Department is expanding its data collection processes. The new "Report on School Safety and the Educational Climate" (SSEC) will be composed of two parts:
- SSEC - PART 1 collects data regarding violent and disruptive incidents (VADIR)

Important Note on EARLY REPORTING: Schools that have been directed to do so by the Department must submit an early summary of the violent and disruptive (VADIR) incidents that took place in their schools between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.
